MACPS

DOPT vide OM. No. 35034/3/2008-Estt.(D)dated 19-05-2009 has issued orders on Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme( MACPS)prescribing Grant of 3 financial upgradations within 30 years to the Central Government Employees. the O.M.is available in the DOPT web site.

From an apparent study of the scheme introduced, we have observed that it would create serious discrimination/anomaly and resentments within a cadre. These damages would be in addition to the discriminations already continuing from the date of implementation of the ACP scheme in 1999 (on the basis of the recommendations of fifth Pay Commission).

We therefore, appeal upon all to study the scheme, its impact on various cadres and forward their reactions to Federation headquarters preferably by e-mail at the earliest so that we are able to give first hand reaction to the authoritiers demanding removal discriminations and also send our views to JAC and Confederation.

33 LDC HAVE BEEN PROMOTED AS ACCOUNTANT

ORDER HAS BEEN ISSUED AFTER ONE MONTH FROM THE ACTUAL DUE DATE .

This would effect in the future promotions of the persons promoted. Despite repeated requests by us, Civil Accounts authorities have not been showing any seriousness in resolving such a serious problem of the lower grade poor paid Employees.
