CONGRATULATIONS

As per the reports received from different parts of the Country, majority of the Civil Accounts Employees participated in the Nationwide strike on 28^th February 2012. Reports on participation in the strike have so far been received from Branches viz. Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, North East (Shillong, Guwahati and Dibrugarh) Gujrat, Tamilnadu & Pondicherry (Chennai and Madurai etc.), West Bengal(Kolkata, Bolpur and Farakka etc) Kerala (Cochin, Trivandrum & Calicut) Delhi, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. In Mumbai participation was cent percent, Kerala and West Bengal the strike was almost total. In other Branches strike was 70 to 80%.

The Civil Accounts organization is completely different from any other department or organization. It comprises small offices like Principal/Pay and /Regional Pay and /Zonal Accounts offices located in different parts of the City/ state. Strength of the offices ranges from 2 to 200 employees. Strength of 98 percent of these offices is less than 20 employees. Major portion of these offices are having strength of between 3 and 10 employees.  But it is unique that the employees have participated in the strike.

Therefore, it was a wonderful action and the strike was a grand success in Civil Accounts Organization.

 National Federation of Civil Accounts Associations (NFCAA) congratulates all those members who have participated in the strike. National Federation of Civil Accounts Associations (NFCAA) takes this opportunity to Congratulates the 10 Crore Workers and Employees of the Country too because of their participation in the strike on 28^th February 2012 in support of the 10 point demands of 11 Central Trade Unions and their respective organizational demands.
