The Central Dharna took place in front of the chamber of the CA, Mines, who s the senior most Officer of Civil Accounts, Kolkata.

The Lunch hour meeting was presided over by Com. Santanu Bhattacharya, President, AICAEA, WB Branch. Com S.P.Roy, Vice President NFCAA gave his speech over the activities of JAC and the charter of demands.Com C.Mukhopadhyay,President,AICAEA,Cat-II WB Branch submit the drafted resolution to the meeting.Com S.Roy Chowdhury informed the members about the latest positions of the demands of both the AICAEA & JAC. Com. Tapan Dasgupta, President, C-o-C, WB in his speech explained the scenario behind the strike called by the Confederation on 12th & 13th February,2014.Com.P.K.Roy,Secretary, C-o-C, WB Branch was also present in the meeting. the AICAEA and AICAEA Cat. II of AP Branch jointly organised the Dharna Programme at the premises of RPAO/Survey of India/ Kendriya Sadan, Kothi, Hyderabad. Meeting Took place at 0300pm, where Com. Ajit Huparikar, Addl Secretary General elaborated the demands and purpose of the programme. Com. A. Azeez, Branch Secretary stressed the need to go on Strike for two days in February, 2014. Com. B S Nagendra, Branch Secretary of Cat. II and Asst. Secretary General read out the Resolution and sought the endorsement of the members participated. The Resolution was unanimously passed and forwarded as per the direction of Apex JAC., Com. Jagannatham, President, AICAEA presided over the meeting. The meeting concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Com. Suresh Neela, Treasurer of the Branch.

As per the decision taken at the Apex Level JAC Meeting, the Dharna Programme was conducted successfully, as directed by our Hqrs.Since the Dharna was organised and conducted by both the Branches, it was organised well and good with attendance of both the Assn. members and Office Bearers.The Dharna Programme was presided over by our President Com. K. Venkatasubramanian. Nearly one third of the total membership of the Chennai participated in the programme.On invitation, the Rajaji Bhavan COC President Com. P. Gembeeram and Secretary Com. A. Balasundaram both attended the Dharna and appraised the need of the struggle to achieve our demands and extended support and also assured their cooperation in our struggle. Furthermore, they extended all cooperation for the smooth and successful conduct of the Dharna Programme.During Lunch hour, the resolutions, addressed to the Prime Minister of India, Finance Minister and others, on our demands, were passed as per the directions of the JAC and handed over to the authorities for onward transmission to the respective addressees.At around 4 pm, the Dharna programme was concluded.It is assessed that the Dharna Programme was conducted successfully and in a manner directed by the JAC.
