BLOOD DONATION CAMP
ORGANIZED BY
BRANCHES  OF WEST BENGAL
ON 29TH OCTOBER 2015
The 8th Voluntary Blood Donation Camp of Civil Accounts Employees of West Bengal was organized jointly by All India Civil Accounts Employees’ Association & All India Civil Accounts Employees’ Association, Cat-II, West Bengal Branch to commemorate the 8th Death Anniversary of our beloved departed great leader of Workers & Employees movement and one of the founding member of Civil Accounts Organisation, Com. Ajay Bhowmick, took place with great enthusiasm on 29th October, 2015 at Supply Accounts Institute Hall, 15, R.N. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata with the assistance of Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, W.B. The inaugural session of the camp was presided over by Com. Shantanu Bhattacharyya, President of AICAEA, WB Br. The leaders present offered floral tribute to the image of Com. Bhowmick. Com. Vrigu Bhattacharjee, our Secretary General and Treasurer of Confederation & Secretary of Delhi state C.O.C., inaugurated the camp. In his inaugural speech Com. Bhattacharjee   narrated the dedicated contribution and sacrifices of Com. Bhowmick for the cause of Trade Union Movement specially for Civil Accounts Organization. He also mentioned the social responsibility of the civil employees towards the society apart from T.U. activities as was emphasized by Com. Bhowmick. He also mentioned briefly some departmental issues in a nutshell including cadre review in Civil Accounts Deptt. He welcomed, encouraged and congratulated all present in the camp specially appreciated the noble gesture of the blood donors.

          On behalf of Association of P.A.O, (civil), E.Z. Kolkata Com. Dibyendu Biswas mentioned the necessity of donating blood for the ailing patients and called the Civil Accounts employees for donating blood generously in such camps in his  short speech and welcomed all present in the camp.


          Com. Pijush Roy, General Secretary of W.B. state C.O.C., veteran and present leadership and a mass of Civil Accounts Organization also were present in the said camp. With great enthusiasm 50 members of Civil Accounts including 3 women members donated blood in the camp alongwith 2 members of leadership of C.O.C., W.B. The leaders and employees present encouraged the donors throughout. Apart from this, 8 members collected consent letters for donating their post-death body and eyes in the post-death body and eye donation camp held simultaneously. Thus the blood donation camp concluded with a grand success.
