Subject:- Settlement of the item No:- 9 (VIII) of the minutes of the meeting held between the official side of the office of the Controller General of Accounts and representatives of the Co-ordination Committee.

Sir,

        We the undersigned, on behalf of this Co-ordination Committee would like to invite your kind attention to the item No:- 9 (VIII) of the minutes of the meeting, held on 15^th November, 2016 between the official side of the office of Controller General of Accounts and the representatives of Co-ordination Committee of Civil Accounts Employees and Officers Associations, issued under endorsement No:- A-110019/25/2016/MF. CGA (A)/NGE/AICAEA HQ/396 dated 30.11.2016 and state that, as per the decision of the meeting, the All India Civil Accounts Employees Association Category II vide its letter No:- AICAEA CAT-II/CHQ/2016/22 dated 08.02.2017 (Copy enclosed) has submitted the details to your office, but no decision has so far been taken by your office on the matter while the Counterpart of Assistant Accounts Officers working in the Organization of Comptroller and Auditor General of India have been permitted to exercise option to get their pay fixed from the date of promotion as AAO after 01.01.2006.

        Since AAOs of both Civil Accounts Organization and Comptroller and Auditor General of India are the part of Organized Accounts and all pay commissions and Government of India have always gave them same treatment with regard to their pay and other benefits, we request you to kindly issue necessary orders granting facility of exercising options for pay fixation to the AAOs discussed above and thereby end the discrimination with them.
