VISIT TO AHMEDABAD FOR STRIKE MOBILISATION


Com.V.Bhattacharjee,Secretary General was invited to attend the open session of the 28th All India Conference of Income Tax Employees Federation at Mehsana, Gujrat on 21st February 2012. Accordingly, Secretary General attended the conference.

On 22nd February Secretary General visited Ahmedabad. Com. T. R. Janaradanan, President, NFCAA, and Com. R. K. Chaurasia, Addl. Secretary General, AICAEA also came to Ahmedabad on that day from Mumbai. The team of visiting leaders alongwith Com. T. A. Makwana, Asstt. Secretary General,AICAEA Ahmedabad, Com. K. M. Chauhan, leader of Ahmedabad Branch visited the units located at Ahmedabad. A meeting was organized by the units of Ahmedabad during lunch hour. Com. V.U. Pandya, ex-vice President of AICAEA Cat-II Presided over the meeting. Introductory speech was given by Com. T. A. Makwana, Asstt. Secretary General, AICAEA.The meeting was addressed by Com. R. K. Chaurasia, Com. T. R. Janaradanan and Com. V. Bhattacharjee. All of them explained the position of demands and need to strengthen the organization. They also explained the need to make the one day strike on 28th February 2012 succesful by the Civil Accounts Employees. Com. D. J. Modi, newly elected Secretary of AIAPAO(C), Ahmedabad addressed the house and assured full cooperation with members of NFCAA. Com. S.J.Soni, leader of the AIAPAO(C) also addressed the house and assured that all steps shall be taken by him and his Association to strengthen the organisations in Gujrat. Many other AAO/Sr. AO were also present the meeting. He has also stated that, all effort to strengthen the organization in Gujrat shall be taken. Before concluding Com. V.U. Pandya and Com. Makwana informed that all possible efforts to make the Strike on 28th February 2012 successful. Further necessary steps to from a full fledged Gujrat Branch shall be made at the earliest.
