CONGRATULATIONS
Members of National Federation of Civil
Accounts Associations(NFCAA) from different parts of the country participated in the two days strike on 20th
& 21st February 2013 in support of the Ten Point Demands Of
Working Class raised by 11 major trade Unions
and 15 Point Demands of the Confederation of Central Government
Employees & workers in large numbers.
According
to the reports received so far, the strike was held in the Branches of North
East, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Pondicherry, Kerala, Mumbai,
Nagpur, Kanpur, Meerut, South Delhi and Delhi. Strike was near total in
Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Southend and Kerala. In all other Branches the
strike was partial. However, in some of the units of these Branches too the Strike
was total and functioning of offices was paralyzed. There was total strike in
some of the Units located in isolation at Maduari and Farakka etc. Some
individual members also participated, with the view to honour the strike call
of the assn. though the unit has not participated. Their spirit and faith on
the organization is commendable.
Inspite
of vindictive actions and imposition of unjustified paycut by the CA, CBDT,
Mumbai on the employees for their participation in the previous strikes held on
February 28th & December 12th 2012, the members of
ZAOs of CBDT, Chennai and Mumbai boldly participated in two days strike. We offer our red salute to them.
The
Strike therefore was a grand succession Civil Accounts Organization and we
congratulate all the members we had participated in the Strike.
From
the point of view of success, the National Federation of Civil Accounts Associations
(NFCAA) is one among the three top affiliates of Confederation which have participated
in the strike.
The
National Federation of Civil Accounts Association conveys it’s thanks to all
those who have made the strike a grand success.
