Subject: - Implementation of 7 CPC recommendations – Grant of Honorarium for checking of Pay fixation cases and revision of Pension cases.

Sir,

                I have been directed to invite your kind attention to our letter No:- AICAEA/HQ/A-2/2016/357 dated 01.04.2016 and OM No:- A.11019/25/2011/MF.CGA (A)/NGE/AICAEA-HQ/133 dated 04.07.2016 of your office on the above mentioned subject and request you that, consequent on the implementation of the recommendations of 7CPC, correctness of thousands of cases of pay fixation and pensions etc. shall have to be checked by employees and officers of the PAO/ZAOs throughout the country. No doubt, these works have always been considered as additional work burden on the employees & officers of the organization by the Civil Accounts authorities and in appreciation of the same, they have granted a symbolic benefit in the form of honorarium to the employees and officers of different categories on case to case basis.

                However, certain categories of employees who are also involved in the entire process of checking of pay fixation cases/arrear calculation/pension revision etc. were not included for the grant of honorarium in the OM issued on 04.07.2016 after 6CPC recommendations were implemented. Therefore, it is requested that, their services may kindly be taken into consideration this time.

                Further, due to increase in salary and escalation of prices, the rate per case need to be reconsidered and revised.

                Keeping the above aspects into consideration, we request you to kindly issue orders for granting honorarium to the officials who are dealing with the pay fixation/arrear calculation/pension revision cases at the following rates:-
