Dear Comrades/Friends,
CONGRATULATIONS
Due
to our sustained and united struggle under the banner of Co-ordination
Committee (COC) of Civil Accounts Employees and Officers Associations,
CGA authorities have started responding positively now. They have fixed a
meeting with the National executive of AICAEA to hold discussion on our 23point
charter of demands on 16th August18.
Further,
responding to our demand, separate meeting on the issue
of Restructuring of AAO Civil Examination is also being convened by
them.
As
regards Cadre Review we have been informed that a meeting with the
representatives of the Co-ordination Committee (COC) of Civil Accounts
Employees and Officers Associations shall be convened on 17th
August 18 and formal intimation about this is being given
shortly.
It
is once again established that trade unions movement is yet relevant and
struggle is the right path.
WE THEREFORE, OFFER OUR SINCERE THANKS TO THE MEMBERS
OF ALL THREE ASSOCIATIONS FOR KEEPING TRUST
ON COC AND UNTED MOVEMENT AS WELL
AND EXTENDING THEIR WHOLE HEARTED UNINTERRUPTED
SUPPORT AND CO-OPERATION

BLACK BADGE WEARING PROGRAMME FROM

9TH AUGUST 2018 POSTPONED
In
view of opening up dialogue with the constituents of the Co-ordination
Committee (COC) of Civil Accounts Employees and Officers Associations on
different demands including Cadre Review and restructuring of AAO (Civil)
Examination by the CGA authorities, it has been decided to postpone
the Black Badge wearing programme from 7th to 9th and Station wise Day
long Dharna from 8th to 9th August 2018.
We once
again congratulate the rank and file membership of all the three Associations
for their support in the struggles and thereby pushing the demands towards
the direction of settlement.
CADRE REVIEW
So
far as the issue of Cadre Review is concerned, we have been informed by the
office of Controller General of Accounts vide O.M.
No:-A-32014/1/2014/MF.CGA/Gr-B/Cadre Review/355 dated 3rd August,
2018 that the Internal Cadre Review Committee of the office of the Controller
General of Accounts Office has proposed to reduce 554 Acctt/Sr. Accountants, 54
Stenos, 77 DEOs, 37 LDCs and 94 MTS posts from Civil Accounts Organization.
Moreover, the Internal Cadre Review Committee has not proposed for grant of
enhanced Pay Scales or improvement in promotional prospects of any cadre.
This
type of anti-employee of recommendations was not unexpected and keeping these
dangers in our consideration, we had demanded that the representatives from the
Service Associations should be accommodated as staff side members in the
internal Cadre Review Committee. But, the authorities did not agree.
The
Co-ordination Committee has taken note of the attack launched and it shall
fight the attacks organizationally. All members may be explained that serious
united movements shall be required for achieving the demand of Cadre Review and
hence they should be prepared for the showdown.
With warm greetings,
(A.B.Sunilkumar)
(Amol Sule) (V.Bhattacharjee) Joint Convener, COC
and
Secretary General Joint Convener, COC and Secretary General All
