Subject:- Reorganization of CPWD and its effects on Assistant Accounts Officers and other categories of
employees of the Civil Accounts organization-regarding.
Sir,
It
has been brought to the notice of this Association by its Branches from
different part of the country that the decision of Government to reorganize the
CPWD would cause adverse effect of reduction of posts of AAOs and their
dislocation in particular apart from other problems on the Civil Accounts organization
in general. It has been noted from the public domain that, after reorganization of
Central Public Works Department for various administrative and other reasons
few orders have been issued by the authorities concerned and these have caused
concern among AAOs posted in en-cadred posts of CPWD. Few Circles and
Divisions of CPWD are under the process of merger, relocation or closure due to
reorganization plan.
Endeavor for
discussion and requests for settlement of the problem through mutual understanding
between the representatives of employees and officers Organisations and the
CCA, UA&E were not responded favorably by the CCA, UA&E.
In view of the
above situations, we request you to kindly arrange for a discussion with us on
the matter at an early date. Since we have already established that, we are
representing more than 21 (twenty one) % AAOs and now mere formality of issuing
us a letter conveying the recognition is left, we urge upon you to kindly
direct your office not to ignore this letter and arrange a discussion on the
matter earliest .
Thanking you,
Yours
Sincerely,
(Amol

Secretary
General
