Subject: - Non-functioning of Departmental Councils.

Ref: - DOP&T OM No: - 04.03.2019-JCA dated 16^th January, 2020.

Sir,

          I have been directed to refer to the above and draw your kind attention to the fact that the Departmental Council, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance under JCM scheme was constituted vide office order No:- B-12012/2015-Ad.II dated 16.12.2015 of the Department of Expenditure. However, this Departmental Council was further reconstituted vide office order No:- B-12012/1/2015-Ad.II dated 20^th October, 2017 with Secretary (Expenditure) as its Chairman.

          From the Day of formation of this Departmental Council, this Association made several requests to your good office to convene the very 1^st meeting of the Departmental Council. But till date no meeting has taken place.

          We therefore, request you to kindly convene the 1^st meeting of the Departmental Council at your earliest convenience.

          Vide our letter No:- AICAEA/HQ/A-4/2019/320-343 dated 01.07.2019 (Copy enclosed) we have already submitted the agenda items we would like to discuss in the meeting and those may kindly be treated us the agenda item from the staff side.
