Subject: Situation in Mumbai due to
Coronavirus infection
Madam,
We have been directed to refer to the letter
No.AICAEA /AICAEA CAT-II/BR.MUM/2020 -2021 Dated 30/05/2020 addressed
to your good self by the Branch
Secretaries of AICAEA and AICAEA CAT-II,
Mumbai Branches on the situation of Mumbai due to spread of coronavirus
infection. Mission Unlock 1 has been started throughout India. Currently the
city of Delhi and Mumbai is suffering most due to coronavirus infection.
Concerns expressed by representatives of associations are worth to be
appreciated by your good office.
We
urge your good self to kindly intervene and issue necessary directions to all
field offices spread across the country to ensure general well-being of
employees and officers of Civil Accounts Organization. Well sanitized virus
free offices, clean drinking water, hygienic restrooms, social distance
maintaining office furniture, proper insurance cover to Govt servants and their
families are basic demands.
Employees
and officers functioning at grass root level for implementation of work from
home and proposed e-office module are backbone for making it successful. We
request incentive allowance for all those who are promoting a new work
atmosphere post “essential service” identity of Civil accounts organization. Attempts
to sabotage cordial relations amongst employees and officers made by few by
hastily interpreting rules like transport allowance during the lockdown period
needs to be viewed seriously by the apex authority.
Infrastructural
changes in the setup of offices needs delegation of more powers to the Zonal
head of offices to procure anti Covid19 safety material and hiring of vehicles
whenever necessary. Presently many offices of PAOs/RPAOs/ZAOs and Account
Offices are stationed in premises owned by departments causing less control
over hygiene and safety of employees of Civil Accounts Organization.
We
shall be highly thankful, if a line intimating the action taken on this letter
is forwarded to us at an early date.
Thanking
you,
Yours
Sincerely,
Sd/-
