Subject:- Compensation of at least Rupees one
crores to the family members of Civil Accounts Employees and
Officers in the event of death due to infection of coronavirus while on essential duty.
Respected Sir,
We have been directed to invite your kind attention to our letter No:- AICAEA-AICAEA CAT II/HQ/A-2/2020/1313-35
dated 25.04.2020 on the above mentioned
subject and state that, the Civil
Accounts organisation has been categorised as “ Essential Service” and the officers and employees have performed their duties midst the exposure to Corona
infected patients, suffered highhandedness of police and local
administration. Employees of all other departments excluding Civil Accounts Organisation which
come under “essential Service” as per the decisions of the governments have been extended all functioning necessities
to all such employees as Essential Service employees and the protection
of insurance coverage too.
We on behalf of our members, had also requested you vide our above mentioned letter to kindly take
appropriate actions to implement all such norms in Civil Accounts organisation
which are applicable to Essential Service departments including the insurance
facilities.
But it is more than a month now, we have not received any favourable
response from your end. We therefore, once again request you to kindly take
early favourable action in the matter.
