Salary payment files on PFMS by 28th January, 2020 for the month of
January 2020.
Madam,
Our attention was invited to the OM
No:- S-11012/2/3(17)/RBI/2015/GBA/75-149 dated 27.01.2019 of your office on the
above mentioned subject. According to our opinion, this OM has the potential to
delay the credit of salary for January 2020 by upto 3rd February,
2020 if banks refuse to credit the same on the NPB date of 31.01.2020 (i.e. the
day of strike). As such many employees with EMIs due on 2nd February
2020 are likely to face difficulty and even bouncing of ECS.
We therefore, request you to shift
the NPB to a date before the commencement of strike by the employees of Banks.
