Sir,
Sub: Extending the benefit of grade pay of 5400/- to AAOs of Civil Accounts set up –                              regarding.

We would like to request you to recall the discussions we had with you on 25.07.2015 at Trivandrum, on various issues raised by the AICAEA CAT-II and the issue of grant of grade pay of Rs.5400/-to AAOs in particular. It is to inform you that consequent to the implementation of orders dated 29.10.2010 issued by the Hon’ble CAT, Chennai bench   vide OAs 966 & 967 of 2009,   the benefit of MACP scheme in favour of the AAOs by fixing their Grade pay at Rs.5400/- with effect from the date on which the said benefit was extended to the Accts/Sr.Acctts in various offices of C& AG has been extended.
We therefore request you to   extend the same benefit to AAOs of Civil Accounts setup also as they are also similarly circumstanced and form part of Organized Accounts cadre.
An early favourable action in this respect shall be highly appreciable
         Thanking you,
                                                                                                             Yours faithfully

                                                                                              ( Gopalakrishnan Nair )

                                                                                                                   Secretary General
