DISCUSSION WITH C.G.A.
On 11th December 2015, Secretary General met Shri M.J.Joseph, Controller General of Accounts. Brief resume of the discussion held with Controller General is as under-

At the very outset Controller General of Accounts congratulated the All India Civil Accounts Employees Association for the achievement of its long pending demand of allotment of one seat in the staff side Notional Council (JCM). He asked Secretary General to convey his greetings to rank and file membership of the Association. He informed that, he has circulated this achievement of the Association to all authorities of Civil Accounts. He also appreciated the responsible behavior of the Association.

Secretary General handed over a letter of thanks to Controller General of Accounts for the support and co-operation had been extended by the Controller General of Accounts and his Officers for settlement of the demand.  

After this, Controller General informed that,   the 40th year of existence of the Civil Accounts Organization and its achievements  shall be celebrated  by arranging different types of functions in March next year. The Association may therefore, extend its co-operation in this endeavor of the Controller General. Responding to this, Secretary General offered assurance of total Co-operation to the Controller General and to the Civil Accounts authorities in the celebration of 40th anniversary of Civil Accounts organization.

Secretary General requested Controller General to kindly expedite the process of posting of the candidates qualified AAO (Civil) Examination. In response to this Controller General informed that, work in this regard is in progress and soon a decision shall be taken.

Secretary General also requested Controller General to conduct AAO(Civil) Examination as it has been delayed abnormally. He informed that, on this matter too decisions shall be taken by the authorities soon.

Referring the meeting held between the official side and the National Executives of AICAEA on 6th November 2015, Controller General stated that, actions on all items discussed in the meeting have been initiated and he shall take his best effort to resolve them at the earliest.


As regards the matters connected with 7CPC recommendations, Controller General assured that he shall stand beside the demands of the Associations and offer his recommendations to the Government.
