Dear Comrades,

WOMEN’S WORKSHOP AT HARIDWAR ON 29TH & 30TH OCTOBER 2018
The Confederation has decided to organize an All India Women’s workshop at Haridwar on 29th & 30th October 2018 in which women delegates from various stations and different affiliates of confederation have been directed to take part. The camp will commence on 10 AM on 29th October and conclude at 2 PM on 30th October, 2018. All India Women’s Convention will also be held along with the camp.
For each affiliates and COCs, confederation has allotted quota.  Associations of Civil Accounts have been asked to depute atleast 15(fifteen) Women Delegates. Accordingly, It has been decided that-

1.      All National Women’s Committee members elected in the 7th National Convention of NFCAA held at Cochin on 11th October, 2017 shall be delegates.

2.      Chairperson and Convener of National Women Committee shall be the team leaders. They shall co-ordinate with all delegates and shall be channel for flow of information and communication.
3.      One way journey fare and Delegate fee for the Delegates shall be brone by Central Headquarters of AICAEA and AICAEA CAT II respectively.
4.      Mumbai, West Bengal, Tamilnadu and Pondicherry, Karnataka, Kerala, and Delhi Branches shall ensure that atleast the Chairperson or the Convener of the Branch level Women Committees in addition to the National Women Committee Member(s)  from their Branches  attend  the workshop.
5.      Nagpur, North East, Rajasthan, AP & Telangana, Uttar Pradesh & Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, West Delhi and Pune Branches shall reactivate their Women Committees and depute the Chairperson and the Convener to the workshop as Delegates.

Com: Subhashini Ali, Ex.MP - and fighting leader of the working class will inaugurate the camp. Com: Kirti Singh, Advocate, Supreme Court & Convenor, Legal Cell, AIDWA will take class on “Women’s Social Status and Rights in Indian Society and our Task”.  Com:T.K.Rajalekshmi, Frontline, will take class on “Media and Politics”.  Com. K.K.N.Kutty, President and Com.M.Krishnan, Secretary General and other Chief Executives of Confederation and affiliates will speak on the subject - “SCRAP NPS, RESTORE OPS - Confederation charter of demands and Two days nationwide strike on 8th & 9th January 2019”.  Com. Usha Bonepalli, President, Women’s Committee will preside and Com. R. Seethalakshmi, Convenor, Women’s Committee will address the camp. 

The objective of organizing the Women workshop is to develop strong and militant women wings of Confederation and its affiliates. As such, the Confederation has decided to initiate various steps to educate most advanced and conscious sections among the women Central Government employees about the Trade Union activities and rights of the women employees. One such step is the forthcoming Convention. Therefore, while sponsoring the delegates, all Branches are requested to ensure that the delegates are having the back ground of participation in the organizational activities. Branches should ensure that the delegates sponsored are sufficiently conscious, took part in all organizational programmes like demonstrations, Dharnas / strikes etc. held during the last two years, holds posts in different tiers of Associations and carryout the organizational tasks assigned to them steadily and fearlessly.
Branches are also requested to send the names of the Delegates selected/ elected from their Branches to the NFCAA headquarters and their respective central headquarters within 20th October 2018 so that the list of delegates could be sent to Confederation headquarters and COC, UP State by the headquarters of NFCCA for their necessary action
