CONGRATULATIONS: MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT
Immediately after the Daylong Dharna staged by the
Federal Executive Members of NFCAA on 10th May 2012 in front of the C.G.A. Office on various demands including
the demand of removal of corrupt officer of PAO, Central Excise, Madurai, the
office of CGA vide OM. No. A 32014/1/2010/MISC. /MFCGA/Gr. B/207 dated
11-05-2012 had issued orders for transfer of the said officer from Madurai
to PAO, Customs, Tuticorin.
THE DEVELOPMENT BEING AN ACHIEVEMENT OF THE
ORGANIZATION, WE CONGRATULATE ALL MEMBERS AND MEMBERS OF PAO, CENTRAL EXCISE, MADURAI ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR SUSTAINED FIGHT.

To get a transfer for an officer is a very small achievement.I am surprised that the Union of All India Civil Accounts Employees Union is very short sighted.Do you not see any reason when an Accountant appointed nearly 32 years ago ,remains a Senior Accountant without having any time bound promotional avenues on the basis of seniority open to him if he does not appear and pass any JAO`s/AAO`s Examination being conducted by the CGA.Giving ACP/MACP benefits of Rs.200 to Rs.400/- in the Basic Pay Structure without any Status of a Post has no meaning.In the span of 30 years,how many Accountants appointed at the time have been granted the benefits of time bound promotions,can you explain.You have no answer.The Policy of promotions on a time bound basis on the Basis of seniority-sum-fitness needs drastic a change.I hope your Union will seriously consider my suggestion and take up the matter in right earnest with the CGA office, the Ministry of Finance and the DOPT for an extensive Cadre Review of Posts of Accountants and Sr.Accountants for granting at least 3(Three) time bound promotions after every 10 years on the basis of Seniority cum Fitness every year to every Accountant under the CGA organisation.Thanks
