CONGRATULATIONS

Members of National Federation of Civil Accounts Associations(NFCAA) from different parts of the country  participated in the two days strike on 20th & 21st February 2013 in support of the Ten Point Demands Of Working Class raised by 11 major trade Unions  and 15 Point Demands of the Confederation of Central Government Employees & workers in large numbers.

According to the reports received so far, the strike was held in the Branches of North East, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Pondicherry, Kerala, Mumbai, Nagpur, Kanpur, Meerut, South Delhi and Delhi. Strike was near total in Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Southend and Kerala. In all other Branches the strike was partial. However, in some of the units of these Branches too the Strike was total and functioning of offices was paralyzed. There was total strike in some of the Units located in isolation at Maduari and Farakka etc. Some individual members also participated, with the view to honour the strike call of the assn. though the unit has not participated. Their spirit and faith on the organization is commendable.

Inspite of vindictive actions and imposition of unjustified paycut by the CA, CBDT, Mumbai on the employees for their participation in the previous strikes held on February 28th & December 12th 2012, the members of ZAOs of CBDT, Chennai and Mumbai boldly participated in two days strike.  We offer our red salute to them.

The Strike therefore was a grand succession Civil Accounts Organization and we congratulate all the members we had participated in the Strike.

From the point of view of success, the National Federation of Civil Accounts Associations (NFCAA) is one among the three top affiliates of Confederation which have participated in the strike.

The National Federation of Civil Accounts Association conveys it’s thanks to all those who have made the strike a grand success.
