Subject:- Recommendation of Seventh CPC with regard to EDP Cadre.

Sir,

            In pursuance of para 7.7.22 of report of 7^th CPC, the Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No:- Misc-14017/14/2016-Estt. (RR) dated 17^th October, 2016 (Copy enclosed) has sought following informations from various Ministries/Departments:-

1.     Whether EDP cadre is existing, if yes, the hierarchy and the strength in each grade/level thereof.

2.     Copy of the existing Recruitment Rules for all the levels.

3.     Suggestions, if any, regarding the cadre re-structuring in the cadre.

4.     Comments on the recommendations of 7^th CPC.

            This Association shall be thankful if a copy of the letter forwarded to the DOPT in response to the above OM of DOPT by your office is endorsed to this Association at an early date so that this Association could be able to take further necessary action.
