This Association vide its letters
No:- AICAEA/HQ/A-3/2016/891-894 dated 03.09.2016 and No:-
AICAEA/HQ/A-3/CBDT/2016/920-923 dated 28.09.2016 had requested your good self
to convene a formal meeting for discussion and settlement of long pending
issues concerning with the employees of your department spread over different
parts of the country. But, inspite of repeated requests to the administration section
of your office by us, it has neither responded positively nor initiated any
favorable action to ensure that a meeting takes place between us.
In this background, I have been
directed by my Association to meet you personally and explain the circumstance
so that a formal meeting between your good self and the representatives of the
Association could be held without further delay.
When approached on 22nd
last, your Secretariat sought a written request for the appointment. Therefore,
as a follow up of the telephonic discussion with your Secretariat, I am
sending this written request for providing us a few minutes time so that we
could brief the ground on which we have been seeking a formal meeting with
your esteemed self and you can accordingly fix a meeting with us at the
earliest.

Madam,
As desired by
you in the discussion held between us in your chamber on 9th August
2016, this Association vide its letter No:- AICAEA/HQ/A-3/2016/887 dated:
26.08.2016 had submitted the list of the items for discussion in the formal
meeting assured to convene by you.
In pursuance
of the above letter, this Association vide its letter No:-
AICAEA/HQ/A-3/CBEC/2016/924-927 dated: 28.09.2016 had once again requested you
to kindly convene the meeting at the earliest as the staff at various station
are confronting serious problems.
But, it is nearly
two months we have not received any favourable response from your office.
The office
bearers of the Association have repeatedly inquired about the status of the
request of the Association from your administration, but they could not have
any satisfactory response.
Therefore, on
behalf of this Association, I request you to kindly convene the meeting without
any further delay.
