Subject:- Revision of option for fixation of pay in the revised pay structure for persons promoted to the grade of Asstt. Accounts Officer/Audit (AAO) after 01.01.2006 - relaxation regarding.

Sir,

                        I am directed to bring it your kind information that the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has issued circular No. 1 – Staff Wing/2015 dated 06-01-2015 granting the opportunity for Revision of option for fixation of pay in the revised pay structure for the persons promoted to the Grade of Asstt. Accounts/Audit officer (AAO) after 01-01-2006 in order to mitigate the disparity in their pay as AAOs.  A copy of above circular of CAG office is enclosed herewith for your kind perusal.

                                                         

The Asstt Accounts Officers in the Civil Accounts organization are not getting minimum pay on promotion on par with Asstt. Accounts Officer in the establishment of the C& AG. It is therefore, requested that similar orders in conformity to the CAG’s order No.1–Staff Wing/2015 dated 06-01-2015 for revision of option for fixation of pay of the Asstt. Accounts Officers working in Civil Accounts organization may kindly be issued by your kind self so that they get the same benefit as their counterpart in CAG organization has been granted.
